Hearts need to be 3-2 and diamonds no worse than 4-2. Play heart King then Queen of diamonds followed by small diamond to the Ace. Play a small diamond from dummy and ruff with heart Jack. Play small heart to the Queen then discard two losing clubs on the Diamonds
You have to establish a long diamond on which to discard your third club.
Therefore, you need diamonds to be no worse than 4-2.
So play QD, then small to the KD and ruff a third diamond high.
You will then need hearts to be 3-2 and can pick up the trumps before cashing the last two diamonds.
KH. If both follow play for 4-1 D split – QD, AD, D ruff with JH, QH. Long D is 10th trick
If H’s split 4-1 play for 3-3 D split – QH, QD, JH, AD, KD.

Draw all trumps starting low to QH and finishing high in hand. Take QD then low diamond to KD and AD discarding a club on second diamond.

My plan is to set up a 4th diamond. This relies on hearts being 3-2 and diamonds being no worse than 4-2. If hearts are 4-1 then I need diamonds to be 3-3.
Play KH, if hearts are 3-2 then play QD then diamond to Ace, ruff a small diamond with JH then a small heart to Q to cash the rest of the diamonds and discard 2 clubs.
If hearts are 4-1 then small heart to Q, diamond back to the Q, draw the last trump and cross to the top diamonds and hope they are 3-3

Best chance if trumps split 3/2 and Diamonds split 3/3. Play AH, KH, QD, 8D to dummy’s K. Then play small D from dummy and ruff with JH. Lead 7H to dummies Q to take out last trump. Then play AD then 5D discarding a club each time then ruff 4C with last trump.,

I think… The contract now depends on the distribution of the red suits. Firstly we need to check if trumps are 3-2 or 4-1. If the trumps are 3-2 we have the chance to ruff the the third round of diamonds and circumvent a 4-2 distribution in diamonds. So I would now play the King of trumps. If all follow, I would play Q of diamonds, small to Ace diamonds and ruff small diamond with the J trumps. Cross to Q trumps removing last trump and then play King and small diamond. Ruff last club. If someone does not follow… Read more »

Well you can’t throw them in! D have to be 3-3. or 4- 2 if last H not in short D hand. Cash KH then Q A K D. If they are 3-3 draw last trump with QH if not, ruff diamond with J then draw final trump.
Play HK; if diamonds are 3:2 then DQ followed by D to the AD. Ruff a small D with the J, draw the last trump by going to dummy with the QH and throw club losers on the diamond winners.
If the hearts were 4:1 at trick 6 then you have to draw trumps [small to QH back to DQ and JH] and rely on the Diamonds being 3:3 for the club discards.

Draw 2 rounds of trumps with A and K.
Win Q diamonds, play 8 of diamonds to Ace. Ruff a low diamond high (with Jack hearts).
Play a low trump to Q.
Play A diamnds and the 5th diamond, discarding 2 losing clubs.
Works when trumps split 3-2 and diamonds no worse than 4-2.

Play K Hearts hoping all follow suit and looking out for 10h to drop. then Q diamonds, then small diamond to A. Hoping all follow suit, play small diamond and ruff with Jack or 9. Small heart to Q, K diamonds discard a club. Hope last diamond a winner. All depends on diamond split no worse than 4 /3 and 10H dropping in first or second round of hearts

At trick 2, cash king of hearts. If the trumps break 4-1, cross to queen of hearts, back to queen of diamonds, draw the last trump with the knave of hearts, and lead 8 of diamonds to the ace and king, relying on a 3-3 split for 10 tricks. If, at trick 2, both opponents follow in hearts, play queen of diamonds and 8 of diamonds to the ace. Then ruff a small diamond with the knave, setting up the diamonds if they split 4-2. (or 3-3). A small heart to the queen now enters dummy, drawing the final trump,… Read more »

The play continues with a HK, then DQ, then DK, then, 5D and ruff, and a 3rd round of trumps to the HhQ followed DA and the discard the Clubs on the last 2 Diamonds.

Play king of hearts next. Suppose one of the opponents had a singleton heart. Then all you can do is run the hearts, discarding the losing club and a small diamond. Take the queen of diamonds, cross over to dummy, and pray that the diamonds split 3 – 3. Suppose the hearts split 3 – 2. Take the queen of diamonds, cross to the ace, and ruff a small diamond, ruffing high, in hand. Then cross over to the queen of hearts, removing the opponents last trump. If diamonds split no worse than 4 – 2 then the remaining diamonds… Read more »

I suspect I am falling into a trap you have set Damien….
So, after A H played, 3 Hs still in oppositions’ hands.
I would play QD from hand, then cross to AD in dummy, then trump a small D back to hand, leaving Kx D in dummy.
Then play KH from hand, then small H to dummy’s Q – hopefully meaning all trumps now drawn…..
In dummy now, so play KD and discard losing C from hand, which should mean the remaining Dx in dummy is now good. Play it and discard last C in hand, then claim.

Play KH, QD followed by 8D to the AD. Then ruff a diamond with JH and 7H to QH to complete drawing trumps. Then cash KD and the fifth diamond for 10 tricks. This works whenever the trumps split 3-2 and the diamonds are no worse than 4-2.

Cash QD , 7H to QH: AD,KD, 4D discarding 2 clubs from West; If KD is ruffed by South, overruff by West and lead small club to void East and West of clubs. Ruff a club return in East with the 8H, ruff a diamond return by West, or take a heart return by West working out where the 10H is for the ending.
